Just a thought. Do not put the #3 GL1100 float bowl or the accelerator pump cap in the ultrasonic bath, unless you really want to go hunting for the tiniest brass piece, spring and ball bearing. Ask me how I know! The vibration loosens and removes the brass restrictors and the other bits follow.

I watched a youtube channel "steves small engines" channel...and he put forward a great idea...put parts into something like a plastic jar with a lid...then sit or float that in the bath solution...that way you dont need to go hunting for the small parts...i have since seen posts also about putting small parts into zip lock bags as well...
One of the advantages of this is you dont need to fill the bath tank full of cleaning solution..just clean water...put the cleaning solution into the jar or bag..use less cleaning fluid..still get same job done..link posted below..

In my carb rebuilding business I have tried a lot of different methods for small items like jets, emulsion tubes etc. I have found glass jars to be the best. They seem to trasmit the vibrations better than any plastic containers.

Great idea putting into separate container to clean. :good:

I would think thin glass - like Pyrex labware should work very well.

Obviously glass would be the best choice for sure ...hard doesn’t flex ...hmmmmmm

We used ultrasonic cleaners for cyclotron parts. Three solvents in sequence, in either Pyrex glass labware or SS trays with water at the fill line to transfer the energy. Some of the solvents were kinda nasty.
