Is anyone out there aware of a safe ignition coil alternative. The AW82-TR1 that is on my 1980 GL1100 are had to find unless you are willing to mortgage your house. :beg:

Don't know how "safe" they are, but several people are running a Dodge Neon coil ($21 @ Rock Auto). Haven't heard of problems but use at your own risk.

Western Honda charges $112 for the GL1100 coil pack.
