My webbuilder/hosting facility Moonfruit is suffering from blackmail threats of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS attack is an attempt to make an online service unavailable by overwhelming it with traffic from multiple sources.)

They have taken the decision to take many sites off-line until they get a new secure system up and running. This may be a few hours but could possibly run into days.

During this time, you will be unable to reach the site or to purchase from it. If you need anything, send me a PM or an email.
John

Sorry to hear John, hope your host gets this sorted out quickly.

Forgot to update this.
The host got it sorted, eventually, and told us that it shouldn't happen again as they have changed to different more secure servers.
You know those ones. They don't let you log in until you've tried at least three times, and then the back-end (for the programming) of your site loads at half the speed that it used too!
After they changed to their kind of weird amalgamation of HTML5 and Flash there was no facility for memberships. Three and more years on, still nothing other than a recommendation to use a third party software plug-in! I managed to find a clumsy work-around without that, but you have to wonder at a hosting company that doesn't get the need for their clients to have some means of collecting members.
Oh yeah, strangely enough, you do have to be a member of their site and have to log-in to use it. :head bang:

I would dearly like to change to another host, but with something over 110 site pages that would be a mega job.

Not difficult at all switching hosts. We've switched a few times and there are thousands of files needing moved over.
