I still have to make a couple of Doors , and little places to put stuff like Gloves , and the covers to cover where the suspension adjustment bolts show in front of each rear wheel . but......its getting close now. hard to resist throwing the last few things on.......and take off........ :smilie_happy: :heat:

OK , time to work a little again , I got the Brakes finished , this is a 1977 Subaru , Rear . But I bought a new Master Cyl. . . with only 1 line . and it didn't have enough stopping power , It WOULD stop . BUT I had to stand on the brakes to stop... not very safe , but they are fine now . :read:

It is a shame you couldn't use a later model Suby rear with disc brakes. I think it may be possible to fit front discs to the 77 rear with a few tweaks.

here is how the Master Cyl. is mounted , I changed the Pedal setup just a little .........the little brake line Valve where the Lines all hook together was the real problem , I took it all apart , and took all the Springs and ball bearings out of it , so it's just open , and it works just fine now .

I like it!

So in essence the proportioning valve now is acting as a splitter only?

thanks Dan , yesssssss your right , just a way to connect all the lines together . because I didn't need the Valve anyway , since there is only 2 rear wheels hooked to this Master Cyl. . .

:good: :clapping: :builder:

I'm amazed at what some of youse guys come up with to solve problems like this....Atta Boy!! :salute:

thanks , a poor man will find away . . you got to have a plan before you can make or build anything , this Brake is used with my Heel , I do my best work in my Recliner , :smilie_happy:
