Read it,
good to know a little more about my Generation 1 Goldwing (GL 1000).
It was quite ground breaking in it's day.

I believe I saw the yellow one (I think it was yellow)at a wingding at Fort Wayne In about 5 years ago not real sure about the year. The guy that had it told me it was made in 1974. Maybe it was another bike but I'm sure he said it was made in 74. There also was a 75 that was there with just a little over 2 miles on it that was never started brand new. He said it was found in Texas never assembled after the guy who had ordered it passed away. I asked him if it was for sale. He said it was I didn't even ask what the price was!!!! Jerry

sounds to me like someone needs to read the book gold wing the first 20 years. the six cylinder used in the M-1 had nothing to do with the first Goldwing though it was used as a test motor in a modded 1200 frame before Honda decided to make the 1500 wing a six
