I worked on my 81 1100 yesterday and changed the belts. I noticed that on the vids on the back of the adjuster bracket there was a thin plate. On mime the bracket seems thicker and is one piece. Is this correct or do I have missing parts. I see the PO had changed the belts at some point as they were gates belts and looked newer. but I changed them anyway just cheep insurance. Thanks John

The 1000 adjusters have a heat plate behind them, 1100's don't.

The plate's are different on the 1000's, than the 1100, 1200, & 1500's, but the bearing's to rebuild them are all the same size, from what i've read. :read: 1200, & 1500's are the same, as have done both. :good:
Tensioners are still available for the 1200/1500(same part) at Cyclemax for about $80 each.
