This is not a real big problem for me but I seem to be leaning forward more than I would like while I'm riding. It's not like I'm sliding down the seat, but it would be nice if the front end stood a little taller. I don't remember this on the last 1100 I had.
I have had the shocks apart and was very careful about putting everything back together right, and the correct amount of fluid. The front end feels solid and handles fine for its age. It can be a bit choppy.
I'm wondering if a change to progressive springs would help this particular issue. I know that they have other benefits and I plan on doing the change this winter. (Maybe earlier if I can't get the speedo cable fastener that is stripped off the bike without taking off the wheel) The effect is worse when I apply the front brake and when the motor decelerates and makes the front end dive. Like I said, it is not a major problem, but if there is a solution I'm interested.
