Talked to Traxxion today regarding servicing the Traxxion suspension in my 1800. Got the information I needed, but also additional regarding my '85 LTD.
I had the suspension in my '85 upgraded to the Race Tech springs and emulator valves in the front forks and Progressive shocks in the rear.
We all know that you can replace the suspension with new from the OEM, upgrade to Progressive springs in lieu of OEM, and there are Race Tech springs and emulator valves as well.
I did not know that Traxxion also has AK-20 cartridge kit for the 1200, but they do. They have suspension upgrades for some 400 applications using the same base cartridge. Traxxion also provides rear shocks as well for the 1200.
In MHO, I would rate suspension renewal/upgrade, from best to least, in this order - also in price:
Traxxion
Race Tech
Progressive
OEM
Ride safe.
