Here is a scratcher for you guys. I decided to bite the bullet and replace the fuel pump relay with the correct unit trying to keep it original. I guess I should have been a little doubtful as the harness had been taped up at some time in the past. It turns out that someone replaced the original with one from a 82 750 Magna! Unfortunately the plug is wrong for the new relay. So, here are my choices. Find an original plug to fit the new relay or just replace the relay with a standard relay like some of you have done. The vendor did say I could return it if I wanted. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Just use a relay that fits the current plug. If you are in doubt about which relay to use you could trace which terminal correspond to which function.

This isn’t a standard coil relay. This is a solid circuit relay. Not sure if I can find a 82 Magna relay but I guess that might be a possibility.
