I meant to post this awhile ago when I installed it.

This style is a lot shorter than the other style that I was using that had the led driver and fan built into the back of the bulb and high beam is now 24w instead of 18.

I am happy with it on the road Dan even though it is not as bright as the 35w HID in the Rats Nest. That being said the Valkyrie has a polycarbonate headlight lens and mine also has another polycarbonate headlight protector in front of it. In my experience headlight protectors alway reduce output. I also need to adjust the headlight so my beams are more on the road than the tree tops. I love the light during the day as the bike is super visable and probably for the ultimate night riding I should add a pair on LED aux side lights similar to the Rats Nest. As I don't intend doing 1000s of kilometres on Val at night I am pretty happy with the new LED headlamp setup. The additional LEDs may not make the cut unless I get some that I like the look of when mounted on Val.
