Hey gang. Quick question.
I believe my 76 GL needs a valve job on the left side.
I have a 78 GL parts bike here.
A: Will the cylinder heads from this engine go right onto my 76?
B: Do I have to change both of them? Or can I do just one?
C: What are the differences in the heads (and cams) for the two years?

Thanks very much, guys!

It's really sad, I meet others on their bikes and exchanging pleasantries they inevitably say, " Not many good days left." The wife wants two more years of work before she retires. I can't wait.

I'm planning a ride to Florida in December to extend the season...

Since we are already :0fftopic: Why not start your ride in november and explore florida and georgia and up through texas and get home around the end of march?
Now what was the subject here? :thanks:

Not many good days left? They must be wimps. I'll be riding mine at least to the end of November here in New Jersey. That's three good months left!
