I have been looking into a couple things, considering maybe a business out of them.one is dustless blasting. This device can use glass, soda,or sand.Depending on what the job is and how much the metal can take. But this machine in a larger version can even be used on residential and brick and mortar edifices. What would it cost usually to say the frame or other rusty parts of my 78 blasted do you think? I am waiting for them to contact me on the larger scale machine.Another device i have looked into is a vapor blaster.I wonder how much it costs to like have your carbs or other greasy motor parts vapor blasted.is their income potential there? All opinions appreciated.

Services such as the blasting you've described vary greatly in costs depending on location and competition. Along with overhead and item to be blasted. Check what is being charged in your area.

This particular company has an entire program.management training, equipment training, business plans, even apparel.i think I will start there.I would imagine they have a list of clients or potential clients, the money made, etc. They get a kickback in a way, even though one personally owns and operates and markets for themselves.By selling their brand specific media, service contracts.etc.But I am tired of working hard and little to show for it.I imagine all of us feel that way.

Life is hard then if yer lucky enough too make it too Old age you get to enjoy being sick a while then you :sensored: die

Worked wit sum fellers years ago blasted stuff with corncobs, nut shells ect. They blasted sum porcelain HV insulators for us that couldn't be cleaned normally. Did a great job quick, saved a ton of time and money. Seemed like a decent deal if you like to travel. Tha equipment they used seemed minimal and tha abrasive materials cheap.

That's a pretty grim attitude toward life. To each their own I guess.

So Dan you haven't heard "life's a b**ch & then you die"? That was/is the standard phrase when nothing seems to be going right, but in reality you still try to beat it! Just a way to let frustration out.

A guy I went to school with does blasting. Never advertises and is always working. I had an old cast iron house radiator that had been painted that he did for me for $120. He handles a lot of weight so from years of doing this, he's strong as a bull. Not a job for anyone with a bad back! Good luck.
