After reading thru the trip regulations and itinerary, I won't be participating. Much too much Army regimentation and ceremonies. I'm surprised that they are able to impose a highly structured ride on motorcyclists who are normally more individualistic than the general public.

However, my disagreement with their regimentation does not lessen my respect for their purpose and actions. I salute them, but will ride my way.

Group rides are dangerous IMO. After riding with our local GWRRA chapter with their insistence on riding close together to "keep our lane" from the cagers, I won't ride with more than a couple bikes, and even at that I'll ride my own way and at the speed and distance I feel comfortable with.

Yep! What he said! You should've seen the gaggle rides at the midwest meet. In my opinion it was the best way to ride with friends. :good:

I've done a couple of rides with Christian Motorcycle Assoc., and what we call the Mayor's ride here in Terre Haute. I love seeing all of the bikes but it is not something I would want to do often. Being a Viet Nam vet I support the run and if they come through my town I'll check it out.

The moving wall will be making a stop here in Meadville,Pa. this summer and there will be a ride to honor our soldiers. :good: :good: :good:
