Greetings all,

Its been a while since I have posted. Does anyone have interesting experiences riding around either of Lake Michigan or Superior? I live on Lake Michigan but I have not ventured beyond Door County or Menominee, Michigan as far as exploring the shoreline. Anyone have experiences to share? How about riding over the Mackinac Bridge?

my ride around lake superior was one of jim's organized rides, it was cold, it was wet, it was fun, and it was a challenge seeing that it was my first IBA ride. can't wait to do lake Michigan this summer

I'm hoping to do the Great Lakes Challenge in July - 2500 miles in under 100 hours:

Maybe I'll see you there!
lake huron didn't go so well for me last year so i'll be riding that again along with a couple friends the week before the GLC so I'm not sure i'll do the GLC.

as for lake superior on the Michigan side from sault st. marie back to Munising was nice along the lake, made it up to Christmas, mi before heading south. we did go to white fish point and pictured rocks, rode this after the IBA ride. terrance bay caught my attention over in Canada during the IBA ride but there is usually little time for flower sniffing during an IBA ride
