I've been trying to break in the new shinko tire so I never kept up with mileage this weekend other than how many miles I've put on the tires so this is more about pic's than anything. we rode up to burton, mi. then flint, mi. and on to frankenmuth, mi. Saturday with a couple of friends. we stopped in rocky's in burton, mi first

met up with another friend, we went and had lunch before heading home. the shinko's with over three hundred miles on them should be broken in, the sidewalls are very stiff, they seem to cause a high speed wobble at 115mph. never had that with the Pirelli angle gt's that I had on previously. the shinkos seem to stick to the road good but I don't think they were tested at speeds over 70mph in a curve. if I were on the road and needed a tire and these shinko's were all they had I would get them to get me home. so there is my short term evaluation of my new shinko tires

Hope you ate at Tony's in Birch Run
the group met up near Oakland mall and had breakfast at bob evan's, I wasn't very hungry and there was no way I could get a tony's breakfast down

What Shinko are you running William? I have run all my Shinkos at 70mph plus without any problems.

a verge on the front and a raven on the rear

I have only used the A230 Tourmasters as per Backlander's suggestion back in 2013 on the Rats Nest and now the front of Val. I would of liked to of run the A230 on the rear of Val but there wasnt one in the correct size. Instead I have used their Journeymaster on the rear and I feel that it is a little harder than the A230, so also a little more slippery but may give better mileage with the weight of a Valkyrie. I decided to mismatch the tyres by fitting an A230 to the front as I feel that it will perform better than the Journeymaster would on the front, only time will tell.
Hopefully the Verge and Raven are up to the weight of the Mighty ST and this combination is not causing the high speed issue.
