where is the best place to but a good stator/alternator for my 86 aspencade.not going to run extra lights or anything that would draw more amps.just want it to charge the battery and keep running

Got mine from Dennis Kirk...it is a Rick's brand. So far, so good. I'm happy with it. I do have a few extra lights and stuff on mine, too.

https://WWW.ELECTROSPORT.COM THEY ALSO SELL ON EBAY

I went there, they don't list 1000 and 1100 in the dropdown but when choosing 84-87 1200 it says for those bikes also.

The LTD 1200 is a different dropdown (fyi).

If you go to search and put in the 1100 I believe that it will bring it up for the 1100 but also I think that I have heard that the 1200 is the same but would research that to be sure. check out ebay too they show it for the 1100

I carry the ACCEL Stators and Voltage Regulators in stock, I run one in my own bike, and have a whole lotta lights with no issues.
They claim, more windings, thicker wire, more magnets, etc, etc etc, visually they look more substantial and carry a Lifetime Warranty.
I number each one I sell and keep records, so far so good.no returns or un happy customers
Accel also offers NEW coils and wires as well, have yet to try them out though.
They are a Division of Presolite Performance, have a International Brand name, and they stand behind their product, good enough for me.
