air compressor

Diagnosing and repairing on board air compressor. I have a 1986 GL 1200 aspencade.
right now it doesn't work and I can't figure out how to access it or diagnose it.
P.S. I have a Honda Goldwing shop manual. No help at all!

Just went through the removal on mine, per the Honda shop manual (it works), it's not easy because of my hand size, but it is doable.
