Hi everybody,I bought this chromed out like a parade bike.Not for me Iam more of a bagger.
Im working on it....
I have 1 question---why does this 82 GL1100 have the Interstate forks ( No headlamp brackets)
but it has a windjammer fairing

Welcome to the fun. :hi: Sadly most faced the hack saw fate. :crying: After market mounting's are not very expensive and offer an easy fix. :yes:

What has already been said. The bike is a Standard with the Vetter faring. To install the Vetter faring, you had to cut the headlight bracket tabs off (which were for the turn signals. Some Honda shops would pull the whole bracket set and headlight off and give them back to the lucky owners after installing the faring.

Also, there were Honda dealers that would sell the Interstate bags as an aftermarket product.
