Thanks for allowing me back in. I was a member maybe 15-18 yrs ago. I had several GL-1000s. I got rid of them all had 3 different Valkyries, then got out of motorcycles for about 3 years. Now I am going tonight to pickup a 1981 GL-1100. It currently belongs to a Pastor, so I hope he won't lie to me about the condition. LOL

I expect I will be asking tech questions of the group. Hopefully I can offer something to the group from my past experience with the GL-1000s

Welcome back, I'll be right up the road from you this winter in Palm Coast. I've worked on a few 1100's so far.

Welcome home. I bought my first GL1000 (a '77) in '04 from a Church of Christ minster. It was a great bike.
