Hey, KerryB:

draw up some plans for a teardrop camping trailer that can be pulled by a GL1100/1200. I figure something like 8' long, 4-5' wide, and 4' tall. Start with a Harbor freight trailer that can be extended and widened. Air conditioning optional. Max weight 500 lbs.

Upgrade 1 would be a screen tent attached to the side of the trailer that you can use as a dining area and then park the bike in it at night.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Tom

:good: even though I will not tow a trailer behind a motorcycle.

To see a design that will meet those goals, see this thread on the tiny teardrop trailer forum.

My plan is for a modified teardrop/folding tent camper. A clone of a trailer made by ,liesure-lite with an aerodynamic shape. The guidelines I have chosen are: low enought to see over from the seat, 4 foot wide, long enough to stretch out in when open, and tall enough to stand up in when open. All this in a package under 250 lbs empty or I might have to consider auxillary brakes. I need to get some other stuff done before I start, so stay tuned...

Sounds great...I surely need something like that too....Kerry provided my every need the last meet and greet I went too ...so greatly appreciated ...thanks again Kerry ...great time we had at Carlyle with PurpleGL ACCOMIDATIONS...

At least have football until February. I still have this CB350 to sell and I need to clean out the carbs again since it is spitting and sputtering again. Sat too much.

Wedoo2, where do you have your cb350 listed? Is it a 4cyl version? That would be a neat distraction, since I only watch 2 or 3 football games per year.

Please tell me it is not the gold colored 2-cyl model. I don't want to buy another bike!!

I miss some of the cb 350's I once had, the majorty of bikes I've owned have been cb 350's still. I've had 19 or 20 bikes which were not cb350's and 17 cb 350 and one cl 350. back in '07 I picked up this as a more modern cb 350 replacement, it is an '85 cb 450 nighthawk. its not pretty but it runs darn good
