Many are in far worse condition than I. Makes the major issues I've been dealing with seem pretty trivial. I hope all weather the storms unharmed. Going to be a lot of work to clean up and rebuild. :builder:

Okay...it's all over the news to make donations to Red Cross..
Am I wrong, aren't the federal taxes we pay suppose to take care of disasters like this?

Oh tax money will flow as fast and hard as the water but it won't go to the real needs. Seems I read a full 3 cents on the dollar from donations to the Red Cross actually makes it to the recipients. If you are so inclined to help you may want to choose another venue for your donations.

The company I work for has over 150 employees in Texas that have been affected. We are donating directly to a fund in-house that is going directly to help them.

We had donations made specifically for a certain disaster, the money had to go towards that disaster.
