Okay this has been dormant long enough. Time to bump it up to be viewed by some of our new members.

Our generation was actually lucky, we HAD to use our imagination. (it was all we could afford) We have seen a lot of great improvements in our life times. ( I should say my generation as I am older.) Just think how far things will advance in the next 100 yrs. :yahoo:

I know there is a lot of talk about "this generation", "millennials" and such, but I am watching my 8 year old grandson work out problems with his toys with no assistance from anyone, creating and building some real cool stuff!

I do not think there is any more or less innovation taking place, I just think that, unfortunately, the complainers and groaners have many, many, many more instant vocal outlets via social media and such that sheds a bad light on a whole generation. For sure there is a pervasive attitude among certain kids today that really stinks, but I would not paint the whole generation with that brush. :hihihi:
