A friend called me Sunday and asks if I was interested in a bike he just picked up, I said yes so about five minutes later he pulls up with this GL1000 in the back of the truck. He is not a bike mechanic and asks if I was interested in getting it running so he could sale it. I looked the bike over and said sure. He did not know about the GL1100 I had rebuilt so I walked him to the garage and showed him so he was happy knowing I have dealt with Goldwing's before. I got the ramp and we unloaded the bike and rolled it in the garage. We agreed on a price and he handed me the title.
I have another friend that has wanted an early Goldwing and has been borrowing mine so I called him to let him know I just bought him a bike.
So I will be replacing the water pump, timing belts, fluids, and giving it a good Go-Over.
