Well I have started restoring a 1975 Goldwing GL1000 Candy Blue/Green. It is in pretty good shape so far but we will see how it goes from here. When it is done it will be parked in our showroom next to my red 2012 Goldwing. Where Goldwing started and where they are now., Pictures coming soon. :yahoo:

Delivery of the 75 wing, pretty ugly at the moment, PO removed all the Vetter stuff. Going to sell all of that off.

Had to park it on the showroom with the right color panels on it, still needs lots of work.

The Goldwing has come a long way from its humble beginning. A simple 4 cylinder engine to a fuel injected 6. A small bike to a large touring
bike. Very nice looking classic Wing.

My first Wing, a '75, was that teal/green/blue color. I loved it! Very pretty bike you have there!

Thank you,
Hope to get the frame up restoration finished soon (end of summer, I hope)

I have the Vetter Fairing, Lowers, Mounts, Bags, Trunk with keys for sale if anyone is interested. PM me if you are

This kind of final result could be your reward for the sacrifices during your restoration.........
Between 2014 and 2015, mine took 1.400 hrs (1.000 labour hrs plus 400 hours on the internet etc.) and approx. $ 4.000,- for new parts /paint / cost of sand blasting / polishing etc.
The basis was my 7.500 mls '75 K1, which I owned since 1978 and thereafter stored for uninterrupted period of 31 years
Hold on brother........

My rebuilt 75.Not a complete restoration just a good cleanup and carb work, strip off all the old faring wiring and back to naked Wing. New tires, belts and home made windshield, lowers.backrest an cargo rack. Total investment with bike purchase, less than $900.
