I recently installed a new front brake master cylinder/lever assembly. Recall that I almost did the clutch, too, but hit a few snags on the hydraulic conversion. Going back to cable, the dang stock silver lever didn't look so good with the new black brake lever. So, I picked up a lever off ebay only to find that not all GL1000 clutch levers are created equal. Unless the guy was full of it when he said "Fits GL1000"!

I only paid $8 including shipping, so I figured I could message it to work. I did, but I'm no metal wizard and it ain't perfect. I only have a cut-off tool, bench grinder, dremel and assorted hand files. It was more trouble than it was worth, maybe, but it's done and they're both black now!
