Yep they adjust out and grip the inside of the inner race. You can buy just the adapter you need I've been meaning to do so. to put them back in i took the biggest socket i had and tapped it in bit by bit. You could go buy a socket the size of the outer race to make it easier. I wound up...
it looks like this instead of using the slide hammer i locked in the correct size into the inner race then used my long bolt to just pound it out from the other side.
Autozone has a blind bearing puller for loan. You have to put like 150 bucks down to borrow it and you get it back when you return it. Made getting the bearings in and out much easier
