Anyone who has had brakes fail on them before knows how sexy rebuilt calipers are...

The bags had all of the hardware riveted on- Not sure if that was stock, or someone else's solution to a bygone problem. The front of the bag tops were cracked, so I cut some aluminum flat bar for support.

The bags I got were someone's forgotten project. Obviously if they're going on my bike they're gonna need some stainless hardware and black rattle can. Mission accomplished!

Waiting for the shop to mount the new tire. In the mean time I removed the front turn signals and bolted the main light back on. They'll be going onto a custom light back with a pair of auxiliary headlamps when I get the time/settle on a pattern.

After the new front tire installation, I decided to paint the rim. I blacked out the spokes and rubbed down the outside ring to create some concentric circles.

Since there will be little to no fender protection, I worked out a radiator grille/guard to help keep the rocks away.

I'm cutting down a junk 1100 seat to make a solo seat. Not bad for a test fit, but need to cut it back a bit more and shape it properly.
