I'm glad that was figured out. I knew muffler bearings were round, square ones would whistel like a bird. PS. My 83 aspy has a throttle lock. Would have been nice if it had a true cruze control. I keep getting finger waves by the hypo going down hill. First (index) finger only, so far.

I waxed, polished, cleaned and shined the ol 1500. Then placed shamrocks and leprechauns all over it. Met with the Patriot Guard Riders of Montana and rode in the Saint Patty's day parade in Billings, Montana. Had a great time.

I have the Markland boards on the front of my 83 Aspy. These boards were bought by the previous owner. I guess he took off the original pegs and threw them away. I wish I had those pegs. When you get into a corner the boards hit the ground. Just in case you didn't know this, It scares the...

I crawled under my 83 1100 GL ASPY and took pictures of the rear bumper. Does anyone know what type it is or what hitch will fit it??? Or even better yet does someone have a hitch to fit it and will sell it???? It has chrome bracing running to the shock, seat mounts in the rear of the bike...
