My 1100 knocks on the first start of the day until the oil light goes out and has done so ever sinse I got it. I have had it for about 6 or 7 years. It has 134000 showing but may be 234000? It still runs great but I have a spair engine just in case. Dwight

Well got the plug out this past saturday with the help of an impact driver. The plug was like glued in or something. Maybe someone put alot of grease on it and over the years it got very hard and dry, The O ring was in bad shape and you could see where it was leaking around it but the plug was...

Wish I could do that Dan but the plug is stuck and where the flat head screwdriver goes in is all stripped out. Am going to try a hamer and chisil to try and loosen it up. I was told that this plug has an O ring on it. Thanks for your reply. Dwight
