Cleaning a gas tank of 25 years of gunk

Last year I picked up a 78 GL1000 which had been put away wet (full gas tank) 25 years prior. I have been putting off cleaning the tank for some time expecting it to be difficult, time consuming, expensive, and possibly not effective. I had done a lot of Internet research on how best to do this...

Original Honda Colors - In a Rattle Can!!

As for the high price: a couple of years ago I resprayed my wife's Suzuki GS400 metallic red. A half pint of just the red base coat was over $100 for a half pint. Thanks for the warm greetings. This really is a global group. I'll add photos when I get back to Nova Scotia, as I'm just using an iPad here and anything complex on this device is beyond me. Looking forward to participating in the forum.

New member in Nova Scotia and Florida

I'm a recently retired GL 1000 owner who lives in Nova Scotia, Canada and in Inverness, Florida. Been riding about 15 years. My first bike (ever) was one of the two Goldwings I currently own. I never tire of looking over old bikes and talking with their owners.
