Atila the Hun, 84 GL1200 disguised as a GL 1000

No I have the faux tank and everything else for the aspencade. I'm restoring and painting it so when I want to change the std out for the aspy fairing, it'll be painted and ready to go. Plus if I ever wanted to sell the bike, not that I could ever see why, I can put the old fairing back on. I...

Atila the Hun, 84 GL1200 disguised as a GL 1000

. I've been restoring this gl1200 and while the aspencade is a nice looking bike, I'm under 25 and therefore not old enough to have the sense to sport full fairing(It'll probably hit me while riding down the interstate). I'm restoring the aspencade fairing to match the rest for winter riding...

alternator conversion on an 1986 goldwing

Worst part was I thought I kept pulling bad bulbs out of my junk drawer. I figured a 80 watts worth of light bulb would be able to handle whatever my measly wrapping job had to offer. I'm aware of the difference in instrument panels and I'm modding the air...

Atila the Hun, 84 GL1200 disguised as a GL 1000

Speaking of which, is a 84 standard faux tank from gl1100 on a 85 aspencade gl1200 even remotely possible?

alternator conversion on an 1986 goldwing

I once hand wound a stator for an xr200. It's now pulling 24 volts at 5 amps(I may have miscalculated slightly). Wouldn't even think of doing it for this. On the bright side, my new issue was making sure that I had a powerful bulb.

Improvising on the fly. Working in the shop wouldn't be nowhere near as fun without it.

Yeah I'm working like crazy to get an aspencade down to a standard in time for late spring.
