    GL1200 - "squirrely" in curves

You said the tires are almost new. Do you mean that by tread depth or age? The front tire on my bike still had about one season left for tread depth but the tire was a few years old and the rubber was a little stiff. I had the same issues of wandering in road grooves. Once I put a new tire on it...

Try running 41 psi in the tires front and back. See if that makes a difference.

    84 GL1200 engine problem

Sounds like you have no choice. You're going to have to keep both of them. LOL. Glad to hear the bike is starting to come around.

    84 GL1200 engine problem

Here's a simple and cheap test to use on the ignition components. You will need a spray bottle filled with water. Pull things off so you can see all the ignition parts - plugs, wires, coils, etc. When it is dark outside fire the bike up and start spraying down sections of the ignition circuits...

That guy has the biggest brass balls known to mankind. Just imagine the skid mark he would leave when he hits the pavement. And I'm not referring to the skid marks in his drawers.. :smilie_happy:

What was your very first motorcycle. Got a picture?

My first bike was a 1975 CB360T same red color as in the video. I didn't have the highway bars but had a padded sissy bar on the back. Bought it back in my high school days. Tore that baby down to the crank to rebuild it. Never had a manual for it, just tore it down and learned how to put it...

Trying out the Delo LE 15w-40. Heard good things about it. Will have to see how the bike runs after a few miles. Runs about the same price as the Rotela.
