I just got this bike (79 GL1000) and the front breaks are missing parts. Someone put new pads in the front but failed to install the "SHIM PAD" and the "SPRING PAD" on both sides. I know that I need to replace the "SPRING PAD" but do I need to replace the "SHIM PAD"?
