Riding around Lake Michigan Lake Superior

IBAJIM organizes IBA rides all around the Great Lakes and would be a good resource for information. He has several rides on the calendar for 2016.

IBA Pre-Approved Rides starting & ending in Michigan

I'll be interested to find out how the Race Tech suspension mods work for you. I'm still using Progressive springs but might try Race Tech if you like them.

    Hitch for GL1100

I'm looking for a hitch for my '83 Gl1100. It seems that most hitches available attach to Hondaline saddlebags. Apparently mine are some other brand, so I think I need a hitch that would fit a naked or standard wing. I'll attach a photo and if anyone has a suggestion, I'd be very appreciative.

    how old were you

My first bike was a BSA Bushman around '69. This was in Nairobi, Kenya. I don't think any made it to the US. In my eyes it was exactly what a motorcycle was supposed to look like. I spent most weekends learning how to keep it running through the next week! It was a great time and I learned a...

Thanks for all the welcomes! What are your thoughts about the timing belts? They don't have a lot of miles on them (21,000) but I'd guess they're originals. Should I replace them due to their age?

Hi all! I recently acquired an '83 Goldwing with a Vetter Terraplane sidecar. Only 21,000 miles on the rig, so it's been sitting a lot. Just going through it now to be sure it's road worthy and looking forward to getting out on it whenever winter comes to an end. :| She runs great! Some new...
