    Took a short day trip from here to Walden, CO and back. Saw lots of Harley's (and a few wings) headed to Sturgis.

    Ok, well now I'm confused. Two people that have way more experience than me are telling me two different things. Which is it? Btw, when I say continuity between the yellows, I mean all on the stator side, between eachother. I did -not- have continuity between between the yellows and the case...

    Still, not that bad off. Could have paid a few k for a "nicer" oldwing and still had the same issues.

    Stator is for sure done. Continuity between all three wires. Now it will probably go to Interstate Honda in Fort Collins to have that done, just because I don't have the space for a job that big. Quoted 1k in labor and another couple hundred in parts.
