Yesterday I pimped my fuel pump on Madam Blue with chrome that I got in an eBay grab bag Misc parts lot along with a radio bezel. Those three were worth far more than I paid for the lot. Also got about 20 lbs of various OEM bolts, nuts, spacers, washers and some other chrome too. #winning...

Finished breaking down Giddyup's 'lungs' and set them up for a good soak before cleaning and rebuilding. I can reuse these Air Cut Off valves,,,,right??? :hihihi: :hihihi:

Started tear down on 'ole Giddyup-Go to prepare for paint, carb work, brake system rebuild, fork seals, timing belts, and whatever else she's going to need to get her ready for spring. Oh yeah,,,I also added a little over 100 miles to Madam Blue's odometer reading too.

This is 'Giddyup-Go', my most recent acquisition. An 83 Aspy that I picked up (embarrassingly) cheap from a guy who is moving and wanted it gone. He claimed that he had purchased it a little over a year ago as a non-running project, (how long she's been sitting, I have no idea) but gave up...

I do not know for sure. She's been repainted. I've found from over spray under the tank shelter and the non-repainted rear fender (which isn't seen all) that she was originally maroon. The paint, though generally OK is in need of refreshing, which is on my list for the winter. I am going to...
