    mine was the same way. I run 40 pilot and a 145 main.I got the pilot jet from Jbugs the main jets are mikuni ,found at most motorcycle shops.I have a 82 1100 aspencade. runs good with this set up.not as fast as stock carbs but better than 40 yr old worn out carbs.Hope this helps you.good luck..Tom

    no not completely but smaller makes it worse and bigger makes it stumble.

    I am running 34/3 with 40 idol jet drilled slightly ( less than 45) and a 145 main jet . it pulls good all the way through. plugs show a little rich. its a 82 1100 I have 3000 miles on this set up,very happy with it.

    the main jet is the same as a mukuni carb.and the pilot jet comes from a VW place. ( JBUGS )

    I have an 82 1100 GW I run a 134 carb with a 145 main jet(the one inside the bowl) and 40 pilot jet.(the one on the side of carb). I have2000 miles on it now works great.

    Is this an interstate, or an aspencade?

    just got my 34 pic3 dialed in on my 82 aspencade seems to work fine. 45 pilot jet and a 145 main jet. I have less than $ 300.00 in the set up.

    I would check the float levels, not enough fuel in them carbs.
