Not sure exactly what that threaded hole is for, probably some kind of vacuum supply like for power brakes or something, I plugged it with the nylon (1/8" NPT) plug that came with the manifold.

That adaptor is a very clean fit. Will you be able to keep the electric choke?

The hole is for a manifold vacuum source,plug it,you dont need it

I was considering utilising the hole by drilling and tapping the opposite side and fit inside the manifold a small oval pipe connected to each hole to provide hot water to heat the mixture and help in atomisation.
