First one took 17 hours but 4 hours just to part off. Hobby lathes are brilliant but a bit slow for some operations. next one should be a lot quicker, although I suspect a professional turner would turn it out in about 4 hours, on an industrial lathe. Not complaining at all, delighted to have the opportunity to borrow a lathe and mill anytime i need them. Just trying to put it into perspective.</p></blockquote><p></p>
