Has any one used a GL1200 fuse box to replace the GL1100?
I want to replace the 1100 and thought maybe the 1200 wires would be similar in color to the 1100.

Any suggestions?

I used a 1200 fuse box to replace the one on my 1100. It has blade fuses but no relays, so maybe it is from earlier models? It's been awhile since I made the switch so I don't quite remember about the wire color compatibility. I spliced it in and it has been working great! Gained a couple of circuits as well as I recall.

I do not know how I missed this thread.. VERY NICE JOB!!!
Wes,

Here is a rough schematic of how to use that fuse box and wire it into the 1100 harness:

There are two extra fuses in the 1200 that are not in the 1100. There is a fuse for the fan and a fuse for the Ignition. You can either use those fuses for something else, or wire them in to match the 1200. The Blue/Orange wire that would bring power from the key to the fuse for the fan does not have an alternative in the 1100 wiring short of tapping into the Black wire.
