 As of right this minit, I am 20 miles from putting 30,000 miles on the Green Weenie since purchase! Woo Hoo! :clapping:
I'll put those 20 miles on on the ride home this evenin...plus aboot 14 more.
Bike('96 GL1500I) had 39,380 original miles when I bought it in October 2016. It has 69,360 relatively uneventful miles right now. :salute: :yahoo:

30,000 is good!

I haven’t been riding at all for a few months. Work, and generally lazy when I’m NOT working. That and a couple guys we know got in back wrecks, so son and I still kinda freaked about that.

in a couple more years you'll be telling us that you've reached the 100,000 mile mark. I've got 103,000 on mine and in that time I've blown the left rear shock, blown a fork seal, and had the alternator go out

:good: :salute:
Wish that I had been able to ride that many kilometres let alone miles. Only averaging 4K klms per year on Val, only advantage is at this rate she will definitely outlast me.

I'm in the same boat. I bought my '81 in October of 1989 with 36,000 miles. It now has 78,000. I turned 60 yesterday and I'll be lucky to get her to 100,000 before I have to get off for good.

just think , you'll never have to buy another bike at the rate you're riding unless you want another bike
a belated happy birthday also, I turn 60 tomorrow
