Had my normal coffee run to Springwood to catch up with the VJMC members on Val. On the way back I stopped past the seat trimmers just to see how he was doing (back issues) and he is hopeful for this week( I still need the gel insert). I then went past my mate Pete’s place who had picked up a CBR1100 Blackbird from a deceased mate’s widow for $2K. I decided to take it for a quick strap to the servo (gas station) and fill it up with 98 octane to improve performance of the old fuel. I was trying to get him to come out to Palen Creek with me to visit a mate’s brother’s 110 acre property so I could ride the Blackbird and show him that it goes harder than the Hulk ( CB1300). He had a change of plans and wanted to ride Sunday but I was unavailable then and decided to head out to Palen Creek on my own.
