Using gm hei ignitions module on gl1100

Hmm I’ve never done it ...but I hear it works on 1100s the best ....through out the different series on oldwings the ignitions are all different ...I heard on 1000 bikes this mod heats things up to much ..works rather good on 1100s ...and not so good on 1200s where you have the breaded black box ignitions ...this is all hear say from me ...hmmm Dave 0430 ..doubt that number right is the man that came up with this mod ...

I'm using Ford TFI modules on one of my GL1000s, triggered by the points. I think the HEI modules would be better suited to the 1100 pickup coils. There is a web site that explains a lot of these. You'll need two HEI modules, and heat sinks.https://gofastforless.com
