It's the cookies causing that Gerry.

9 times out of 10 the link on the forum "Delete board cookies" will fix log in/out problems like that but if not, go into your browser's cookies and delete all the cookies that start with "classicgoldwings"

Let us know what you found worked or didnt and what browser your using.

My browser!! :smilie_happy:

I am using Internet Explorer 6.0 and Windows 2000 Professional service pack 4. (Talk about old reliable. I built this machine in October 2001.) I emptied the board cookies first and so far so good.

Joe, my browser has always been set to "open links in new windows". This is only happening here at CGW...none of my other forums are doing this. Like I said, tho, it doesn't happen all the time. Most times, it will open the links in a new window, but....there are times when it does not, and I have to pat attention, or when I close the link window, I also shut down the forums! :sensored:
It ain't that big of a deal, but it is annoying... :read:

Update: Dan has corrected this issue. ;)

Anyone other than me having an issue with your posts being double posted? Several times, since the new forum went up, I've posted a response in a thread. I hit "Submit", and when the thread pages comes back up, I'll have a duplicate post.
Now, with the new "style" on the forums, it gives a warning message that a new post has been made since the last time I saw the thread, and would I like to change my post...and it is usually MY post!
Is it just me...again? I know I'm not clicking on the submit button twice...

Odd, I wonder if it has something to do with the dialup.
I dont think anyone else has had that problem because I've never seen any double posts, unless they're being deleted by Omega Man and yourself.

Haven't had the problem myself, but who knows? Could be a dial up issue. I'll check when I get home from work today and see if it happens to me.
