I picked up some tires and wheels for my RTVs that were original fitment for a Nissan Navara. I decided to use the rims to make an out door wood heater/brazier. A mate had just purchased a plasma cutter recently and he let me use it to cut the centre out of 3 rims. I used another rim to be the stand/base which I welded a pipe in as a spigot to hold the brazier on top. I re welded the centre in upside down to mate up with the spigot and be the floor of the fire box. The top 3 rims are welded together and are able to be tipped up to empty the ash etc. There is also a tray which may end up with sand in it if the bottom rim stand gets too hot. That way it can be used on the grass and even possibly the timber deck. I just need to get it really hot to burn off all the paint and put it to use.
