With our collective experience, we have discussed or posted some real cool stuff in the past. For the sake of some fun and interesting items, I thought a thread on unusual engines (individually or in a piece of equipment) would be cool. I'll throw in a real neat marine diesel engine call a Doxford type of engine built in 1955 (and still in service).

Well the aircraft engines aren't being represented properly, so nothing says: suck, squeeze, bang, blow better than 36 cylinders... Here is the Lycoming XR-7755
