I learnt Monday that my 2 email services were going to be shut down, or pay $50 a MONTH for each one. They are tied in with several Corvette forums I Admin, and the email was part of the google service we use. Between the 2, I have over 3000 emails saved/stored from all the way back to 2003! A lot of it is old crap I can delete, but, I have to have all of it cleared out before they shut it down NEXT WEEK! Ya...THANKS for the advanced notice, google.
Well...after two days, and 5 NEW google accounts(!), I now have 6 emails addys....but 2 will be gone soon. Since I'm a friggin IDJIT, I couldn't figure out how to actually create a gmail EMAIL account....I just kept creating new googly accounts....DOH. Anywho, I am in the process now of transferring all the emails from 2 accounts to the 2 new replacement accounts. Then it's on to trying to figure out how NOT to loose all my utube stuff. My webpage will be GONE....I cannot do anything aboot that one, but I do at least have everything that is on it on a hard-drive, so I will not be loosing any tech info. And....just to make life sooooo much bettah, our mothertruckin mikeywave took a dump this evening....bastige. It's only maybe 2years old....frazzlin JUNK....

I can't forward over 3000 emails(per account) one at a time. I am able to transfer the bulk of my two main accounts to the two replacement accounts, but it will not transfer anything that is stored in a folder. I have to do that manually. The "old" email service will be shut off completely...forwarding will do no good.
I'm getting there, it's just taking so much time to do it, and I still have to go to all of the services that use my email(paypal, credit cards, bank, etc.) for contact and change those email addresses....but it's hard to remember which ones have that info to begin with. Looking back at some of the oldest emails, I don't even remember some of the services/forums that I have an email listed with! Just a major pita, and so little time to get it all done....so...off I go!
