I have 2 of these old machines...and have had my '79 since the early '80s, yet have not been a bit interested in newer machines due to the amazing handling, acceleration, and comfort, whether touring or riding through town. Much later, I happened upon a very special GL1000, a '76 LTD, which a very rare, celebratory bike that Honda built for America's 200th anniversary! Only 2000 were sent to the U.S. Honda dealers...and I am privileged to own one of those beautiful maroon and chrome babies!
