I gave your method a try and my cables work much better, thanks for your advice.

What product do you guys recommend for lubricating throttle, clutch and brake cables with. I think mine are stiff and dried out.

I’ve been running my 82 Gl1100 all summer with the tires that came on the bike, almost 1,000 miles. The tires are Dunlop’s. A friend ask me how many years old the tires are, I hadn’t checked because they look like new tires. 4203 is the date mark. Should I keep running these or get new ones?

My son has been driving the 81 this summer and he mentioned that he could only get back into neutral if the bike is rolling forward before a stop. If he comes to a complete stop in any gear it’s difficult to get the bike back in neutral. I’m going to visit him in a few days and I’ll check it out...

I be got about 500 miles on the bike and hardly anymore clutch squealing with the 10-40 oil. I’ll try the 15-40 Rotella next oil change.

It’s some sort of switch with a wire going to it. Maybe for the passenger intercom?
