    yep, the gears were stuck in mine. on another. it was the brushes coroded with some black stuff. in both cases, it was only time involved.........no momey spent.

    you can, but it wont hel[p. the seat i finally bought actually builds the seat further back on the base. i moved the tour pack back so my chick could have room. made a huge difference for her, and my knutzes dont hurt anymore.

    battery, circuit breaker, bad ground. disconnect cable from starter to prove rest of circuit as a fast test. then do PIDJPONES test while start cable still disconnected as quick test for starter. poboy redneck method.......disregard if you have meters, expreience,etc

    is tha info from a factory service manual? pidjones speaks truth. do not lap those valves, per honda.

    you will want the early torque provided by the oem carbs. keep at it until you get them right! a honda service manual will save you lots of $$$$$$$$ and even more time. bite the bullet and get it done right.

    always just made my own. but might as well cut the old one and replace. you need to replace the stems, barings, nuts etc if you ever go in there.
